This tree I visit regularly for grounding. It would take 8 people with their arms stretched out to wrap around the tree. The branches alone would take 2-3 people to hug the branch. It is estimated to be approximately 2000 years old according to a ranger I talked with.

Imagine if this tree could talk and the stories you would hear. I talk to it and I sit on the trunk where it goes in the ground. If you ever get around Daytona Beach please make every effort to visit this beauty. You won't be disappointed. Videos and photos do NOT do it any justice.
